  1. Where can I use SMS Alerts?
XpresSMS can be used across various industries in the following manner:

  2.   • Retail industries especially those in clothing can send a variety of SMS messages ranging from ‘Blow-out Sales’ to ‘Special Sales’ to customers based on their purchasing history.
      • Airlines can SMS customers about flight booking confirmations, flight departure times / delay notifications.
      • Mortgage brokers can send customer-specific mortgage refinancing rates with confirmation messages to customers.
      • Collection agencies can send payment reminders to customers.
      • Marketing and Sales teams working remotely can use SMS to prevent missing deadlines because of delayed communication. Teams can be notified via SMS that they have new voice or fax mail messages waiting in their unified mailbox. The SMS would include an indication of the type of new message that has been deposited, such as fax, email or voice mail.
      • Organizations specializing in Call Center operations and Customer Service can send customers information about their account via SMS. Expensive person-to-person voice calls to customer service centers can be avoided. SMS can deliver account status information, new service configuration etc. Significant financial justification can be found in deploying a value-added services platform on the basis of savings in customer service costs alone.
      • Job dispatch applications can use SMS to assign and communicate new jobs from office-based staff to mobile field staff. Job dispatch applications can optionally be combined with vehicle positioning applications- such that the nearest available suitable personnel can be deployed to serve a customer.  ^ ^
